Now Oregon Ballet Theatre open the season on a high, becoming the first U.S company to stage their own production of this three act piece, lending their talents to this decidedly Danish classic.
What is the story of Napoli?
Following the story of Teresina and the object of her attention, the poor but handsome fisherman Gennaro and the strange adventure they embark on to an undersea realm when Teresina is kidnapped by an evil sea spirit, Napoli takes you from the streets of 19th century Naples to an enchanting aquatic realm. Spectacular and a signature in the classical canon, this one is a treat for fans old and new!
