Oregon Children's Theatre presents a brand new musical adaptation of Roald Dahl's most marvellous tale of a young orphan, James and the surreal adventure he discovers when he boards a gigantic magical peach and sets off across the sea, away from his cruel aunts and to a new life.

Peachy keen: What's the story

When James' parents are killed by a rhinoceros, he is sent to live with his mean-spirited aunts, Spiker and Sponge. Treated like a servant and made to sleep in the attic, his life is miserable until he meets a kindly old man who gives him a magic potion that will make him happy and change his life. When he accidentally spills the potion on an old peach tree at the bottom of the garden, one giant peach appears with a whole crew of magical insects who take James away on the journey of a lifetime, battling sharks, wrangling seagulls and finding a whole new meaning to life and friendship.
