The timeless score to David Lynch's television show doesn't need any visuals to achieve the same sense of unsettling beauty.
Pitchfork
David Lynch's legendary TV series Twin Peaks went on to become a benchmark in surrealist, unbelievably engrossing television. Revered to this day as an influence of many of today's triple-A titles and media, its artistically dreamy atmosphere was like nothing mainstream TV had seen before. Conductor Sarah Hicks leads the Oregon Symphony Orchestra through some of the greatest selections from Angelo Badalamenti's GRAMMY and BRIT award winning score at Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall!
Tense, mysterious, humorous and, at times, downright weird, the show is often considered one of the greatest ever made and a landmark new direction for future long-form TV series. The soundtrack contributed enormously to its cult following, with Badalamenti's score moving between cool, lounge-bar jazz to artistically ambient dream-pop and everywhere in-between, well worth its 1991 GRAMMY win.
