Oregon Symphony - Rachmaninoff's Second Symphony

Why see Oregon Symphony - Rachmaninoff's Second Symphony?

It's Over with Conrad Tao

Coming to the Oregon Symphony is a night of greatness as the award-winning Conrad Tao takes his seat at the piano to lead you through a trio of elaborate compositions. Featured will be Rachmaninoff's Second Symphony, Haydn's Piano Concerto in D Minor, and Tao's own work, Over. Joining Tao as the conductor is David Danzmayr. A must-see for all piano fans, new and old alike!

Tao is well-reputed as a musical prodigy, starting piano at the age of eighteen months. By age thirteen he was featured on national television, and by sixteen was appearing as a piano soloist with multiple orchestras including the San Francisco Symphony, the Philadelphia Orchestra, and many more. The evening is a part of the Symphony's Classical Series B and will take place at the historic Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall.
