RATELIFF AT THE FILLMORE
Great show. They never disappoint. Can't wait for the next chance to see them.

THE REAL DEAL!
With so much fake, over rehearsed, auto tuned absolutely muck music out there, my faith has been restored!
What talent! What entertainment! I felt like I went back 25 years in music history!
Such a mix in genre as well, a little country, rock, rhythm and blues, soul! Speaking of soul, Nathaniels soul is pouring out in his performance, not just in his voice but his entire body! You can just see the music in every movement he makes. The band absolutely talented and looking like they not just love making music but are having a great time too!
Looking around the audience I saw all ages and everyone just loving it!
I cannot say enough! If I was t working tonight, I would have went back to see them again!
Do yourself a favor, get a ticket and buy his albums!
The concert was at the Beacon Theater November 4. NYC

TO LOUD AND ANNOYING BRIGHT LIGHTS
Excellent show with great song selection but just a little to loud and also some annoying very bright yellow lights aimed at the audience.
Jim wright from Seattle, Washington
SNOOZE FEST
Didn't play any of his most popular songs. Slow slow music. Should have played in the really AM. Couldn't stay awake. Great music but so slow!!!

NATHANIEL RATELIFF AND THE NIGHT SWEATS IN MILWAUKEE 2020
That was a tough concert to sit through. All musicians are extremely talented but the pace was so slow that I was fighting to stay awake from time to time. To give you a sense, he ended the night with a song about depression. Pretty brutal.
Bob Gibson from Chicago, Illinois
NATHANIEL W/O THE NIGHTSEATS WAS DISAPPOINTING
A group of 4 friends went to see Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats as advertised at Chicago Theatre on March 6. When Nathaniel came onstage a little after 9:00 pm he announce that this show was w/o the NightSweats in case you didn't know that. (how would I know that based on this advertising, NATHANIEL RATELIFF AND THE NIGHT SWEATS AT THE CHICAGO THEATRE March 6)
"Rateliff’s latent genre slipperiness comes through on his new album, a solo set recorded sans the Night Sweats that turns away from soul music into a much more somber setting as he processes a divorce and the death of his friend, the musician-producer Richard Swift."
Rateliff performed one melancholy song from a NightSweat album but the balance of evening was depressing somber music. We left after 30 minutes along with many others amongst boos from the audience. The overall theme of protest was "this is not the music we expected to see and pay for" I can sympathise with his loss but respect the fan base you got you here.
