Pod Save The People Hits The Road
With its finger firmly on the pop and political culture button, Pod Save The People is a weekly podcast hosted by organizer and civil rights activist DeRay Mckesson with regular appearances by racial justice activist and policy analyst Samuel Sinyangwe, writer and scholar Clint Smith, and award-winning activist and writer Brittany Packnett. Exploring topics such as history, language, social justice and White House happenings, PSTP creates a space for open and illuminating conversation on weekly issues, as well as imparts information and inspiration in the hope of creating a community of thoughtful activists and communicators.
Mckesson, Sinyangwe, Smith and Packnett are hitting the road in 2019, kicking off a hotly anticipated live tour of the podcast during Black History Month. Joining them on various dates will be Nate Silver, an American statistician and writer who analyses elections and baseball games, Denice Frohman, a poet, writer, performer and education advocate whose work explores race, gender and sexiuality, and Larry Krasner, former civil rights attorney and current District Attorney of Philadelphia.
