Why See Feist?
This year marks the long-awaited return of Canadian singer-songwriter Feist, with her new record Pleasure. Her first effort in six years, Pleasure is a much rawer album, dialling into the primal guitars of early PJ Harvey on numbers like 'Century' and the title track. The twinkling pop starlet of her hit single '1234' (which brokeout in large part thanks to its inclusion in an ipod commercial) is nowhere to be seen, replaced with gorgeous understated songwriting and a slow-burning atmosphere.
'1234' will undoubtedly make an appearance on these tour though, as will 'My Moon My Man', 'How Come You Never Go There', and 'Mushaboom'. Catch Leslie Feist when she hits Revolution Hall in Portland, OR, Closed October 8, 2017.
