DISAPPOINTED IN TIM FOUST

Sad thing I bought these tickets for my 19 year old daughter who was their #1 fan on Spotify! Disappointed in the Vip2 q&a he was quick to say he would rather retire tomorrow than sing. Disappointed in his he treated fans seemed to be insulting and he used many sarcastic lines really reminded me of how a bully acts Show was great but just think Tim’s comments and mean remarks killed me wanting to see them again, it was really uncalled for as without fans what are you?

TOO MUCH TALK AND TECHNO.

Not much harmonizing that they are known for. They sang mostly songs that would rate as b sides. A few good songs and harmonies, but sadly lacking. A long and unnecessary intermission after only about 45 minutes led into a very long 15 minute techno something solo, a deluge of sounds and lights that seemed like an uncoordinated aborted space mission. No harmony whatsoever. A scan of the audience showed boredom and questioning looks. Spot lights into the audience made it hard to focus on the stage. A lot of talk and self aggrandizing, and cutting remarks to audience, took up much of the show. They encored with the Sea Shanty Medley but even that seemed rushed like they couldn't wait to get off stage. Downtown Kalamazoo was great with the mall and a ton of good restaurants and BnBs nearby. Well lit and obvious police presence made for a safe walk around town. I don't think I'll see them again but will check now and then to see if they ever get back to harmonizing and some good songs.

DREADFUL PERFORMANCE

The group "Home Free" is touted to be "a cappella" and no musical instruments were noticeable, however, they use so much technology, loopers and sound altering amplification that there voices were lost to all of the tech they use. Voices were un-intelligable most of the time, perhaps the sound system was the problem, but it was aweful. Their light show blinded me because the strobe lights were aimed at the audience, we could not see the performer's faces and isn't that supposed to be part of the show? If they "really" want to be a cappella" then why not perform "unplugged" from all the techno-junk they use? I was happy during their intermission and when it was finally over.

I AGREE WITH MERLE FROM BOSTON

The ONLY time this group was good was when the strobe lights and technology was off - back to 5 voices that won the Sing-off. Show was only 1 1/2 hours long - not counting the intermission and time they were talking to the audience. Need to have disclosure about use of strobe lights for those prone to seizures. And please have a no child policy - several kids 2-4 years old crying, kicking the back of seats. etc. They are better to watch on Youtube.

MERLE FROM BOSTON & BESSIE FROM GREENVILLE 100% RIGHT!

We have never missed a Home Free Concert when appearing nearby, since following them on the Sing Off, and sadly, last night will be our last. The reviews by Merle and Bessie stating use of blinding strobe lights, amplification making unintelligible...and the tech, presented a performance unlike the originality and uniqueness of the Home Free as we know it. Though I appreciate them putting their new music 'out there'...it was disappointing they didn't bring forth the great songs that brought them their notoriety, which was also disappointing. We miss the of the original Home Free!

HOME

We came to hear you sing. What we got: an opening act by a young woman and couldn't understand a word she sang, a second opening act that did have impressive guitar work but couldn't understand a word they sang. Flashing white strobe lights that blinded the audience. So much time wasted on "looper noise". The best of the night was when they sat on stools and sang one song, by themselves, and no flashing lights. That's what we paid for. This was my 3rd and final Home Free concert. So disappointed.

HOME FREE

We were so disappointed with "Home Free" concert. Our first time to see them live and there was too much banter and not enough singing. The light show didn't enhance the performance but was a distraction. The sound effect solo didn't seem too country to us and was long....would have rather heard them sing!
