Whether you're a music enthusiast or a sports aficionado, Oregon Symphony's Musical Olympics is a fun treat to delight you and the whole family! With a starting line up including the Olympic Fanfare by John Williams (written for the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles), Beethoven's instantly recognizable, ferociously frantic Fifth Symphony and other tunes and ditties you'll associate with the greatest sporting events of all time, this is a spectacle not to miss!
Leading the pack is conductor Deanna Tham, coaching a winning team featuring the Oregon Symphony, Pacific Youth Choir and the athletic performers of Dance West. Commentary is provided by Pam Mahon - let the games begin!
