A steel drum celebration

The steel drum takes center stage in this exciting program featuring composer and percussionist Andy Akiho and his celebrated work 'Beneath Lighted Coffers'. Inspired by the sublime architecture of the Pantheon in Rome, expect a transformational trip around the building with this uniquely high-spirited instrument.

Following, the symphony will take on Schubert's final 9th Symphony "The Great C Major". Evoking Beethoven, it is known for it's magnificent scale, leading to an expressive climax.
